Macro studies of light through liquid: oil, water, soap, and air against coloured backdrops. Up close, bubbles stop being bubbles and start being shapes.

Coloured acrylic and glass photographed at close range: slabs of pure colour with the edge, shadow, and overlap doing all the work.
Shapes and Shadows
Macro studies of metal: kitchen tools and industrial bits photographed for shape rather than what they're meant to do. Ridges, holes, edges, reflections, all against deep shadow.
